As part of our recent strategic realignment, we proudly announce our CSR partnership with Gift of Givers, a leading South African NGO that excels in identifying critical needs and delivering solutions where they matter most. In this partnership, Change Logic is committed to making a meaningful impact on social causes, with our pilot project aligned to Women’s Month, making an impact to help combat period poverty in South Africa.

For too long, the issue of period poverty has been overlooked, leaving millions of girls without access to essential sanitary products. The numbers are staggering: according to the WEF, up to 7 million girls in South Africa either cannot afford or do not have access to sanitary products, with around 30% missing school every month due to their periods. This is not just a health crisis but also an educational and socio-economic one, preventing young women from achieving their full potential.

“At Change Logic, we’re about creating change that matters. Our collaboration with Gift of Givers and the Mina Foundation wasn’t just a CSR initiative—it’s a commitment to empowering women through education and access to essential resources. We believe that by giving these young women the support they need, we are investing in the future of our country.”
Bruce Turvey, Executive at Change Logic

This Women’s Month, Change Logic was thrilled to take action, starting with a focused effort on university campuses. In collaboration with Gift of Givers and the Mina Foundation, we aim to empower young women by supporting the “First Things First” campaign. By sponsoring 200 Mina Cups for students at Nelson Mandela Bay University and Rhodes University, we ensured that our contribution was part of a well-organised, thoughtful, and impactful project that responds to genuine needs in the community.

Further to the initial sponsorship, on Friday, August 16th, we joined forces with Rhodes University in Makhanda, YFM, and other stakeholders to highlight the pressing issue of period poverty at an activation event on campus. The event was filled with energy, compassion, and above all, gratitude for the collective efforts to make a lasting difference in the lives of young women.

<figure class="wp-block-gallery
